Michael Dewis

With a passion for music and years of experience, Michael Dewis is dedicated to delivering exceptional performances that captivate audiences. He takes pride in creating unforgettable musical moments that resonate with the hearts and souls of the listeners.

He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (1990-1996) and the National Opera Studio (1996-1997). He studied with Rudolph Piernay, David Pollard, David Barrell and currently studies with David L. Jones.

He has been a regular soloist at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and Opera North. Abroad he has sung across Europe - particularly in Germany where he was Principal Baritone at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven for four years (2004-2008).

He has been a soloist with all the major UK orchestras, is a specialist of German Lieder and the song repertoire. He has made and been featured on many recordings and has broadcast widely.
